Thank you, Keld. Nice to hear. I know what you mean, and maybe I could have cropped it a bit, but I would not take all of it away, because for me it contains or supports one of the leading lines in this picture to the summit, albeit it is not one uninterrupted.
Btw, I'm glad you told me about the luminosity masks. I'm using them more and more, combining them in different ways, experimenting, etc. They are also great for sharpening. Especially in the highlight and mid-tone areas. I suppose you used them here as well.
I guess I use them for every picture I upload. I love that fact you mention to be able to increase contrast in sensitive areas without loosing details due to over-treatment or blowing the highlights even more.
