As the sun set on the way down this day, mist built up and rose quickly, leaving little time to hang around. It was really fascinating how quickly the mist rose. Once I was in or below the mist, taking pictures was more or less done. Of course, I did not know that 300 m lower in altitude, there was no more mist immediately around me, just above me, blocking all direct light.

Meine bescheidenen Kenntnisse in Photoshop, wahrscheinlich. Die Luminaz oder Leuchtkraft eines Bildes hervorzubringen, ist nicht so einfach. Ich will ja nicht übertreiben mit den Farben.

The images was taken in Hohe Tauern national park in Austria, close to Matrei, on the way to the Neue Prager Hütte before we hiked to Großvenediger.
